Common use of Subsidiaries and the Parent Clause in Contracts

Subsidiaries and the Parent. During the term hereof, including, for the avoidance of doubt, during any renewal term, the Company and the Parent will each use their commercially reasonable efforts to cause any of their respective insurance or reinsurance subsidiaries that are formed after the date hereof to offer to AUL the option to enter into a services agreement with AUL on substantially the same terms and conditions as set forth herein, with any such agreements to be terminable on the same date that this Agreement is terminable.
