Common use of SUBSTITUTION OF MATERIAL Clause in Contracts

SUBSTITUTION OF MATERIAL. If a Subcontractor recommends or proposes substitution of material or other changes in the Work from the material or Work specified in the Construction Documents after bids and/or proposals for that Work have been received, evaluated and awarded, the ▇▇▇▇ shall evaluate such proposal and make a recommendation to the Architect and Owner. After Owner and Architect Approval, the ▇▇▇▇ shall process an Agreement Modification.
