Sufficient Cause. 274 275 An employee shall be disciplined only with sufficient cause. The specific grounds forming the basis for 276 official disciplinary action shall be given to the employee in writing. The employee is entitled to have an 277 AR present at any meeting at which the employee is being investigated for possible misconduct or 278 disciplinary action. If a request for such representation is made any meeting regarding the investigation or 279 disciplinary action shall not take place until the AR can be present, provided the delay is no more than 280 twenty-four (24) hours. 281 282 A policy of progressive discipline which includes, but is not necessarily limited to, verbal warning, written 283 reprimand, suspension with, or without, pay and non-renewal or discharge shall be followed.
