Suitable Rooms Sample Clauses

The 'Suitable Rooms' clause defines the requirement that any rooms provided under an agreement must meet certain standards of suitability for their intended use. In practice, this means that the rooms should be safe, clean, and equipped with necessary facilities, such as adequate heating, lighting, and ventilation, and must comply with relevant health and safety regulations. This clause ensures that occupants or users are provided with an environment that is fit for purpose, thereby protecting their well-being and minimizing disputes over inadequate or substandard accommodations.
Suitable Rooms. Teachers who consider their classrooms to be unsuitable for instruction, due to heating, lighting, ventilation, space, storage, seating, or other concerns relating to facilities, are encouraged to file a Conflict Review Process on the matter. In the event that a classroom temperature is so uncomfortable that it impedes learning, upon request of the teacher, the building administrator, or the immediate supervisor, may permit the removal of teacher and students to an alternate location until the temperature can be improved.
