Suits. Mortgagor also authorizes and empowers Mortgagee or its appointees or any of them to appear in the name of Mortgagor, its successors or assigns, in any court of any country or nation of the world where a suit is pending against the Vessel because of or on account of any alleged Lien against the Vessel from which the Vessel has not been released in accordance with the terms of this Mortgage and to take such proceedings as to it may seem proper towards the defense of such suit and the discharge of such Lien.
