Common use of Summary Rating Clause in Contracts

Summary Rating. Combining the written appraisals of each critical element (on which there has been an opportunity to perform for the minimum period, i.e., 90 calendars days) in order to assign a summary rating level. The rating official derives the summary rating from appraising the employee’s performance during the appraisal period on each element.
