Common use of Summary Termination Clause in Contracts

Summary Termination. The Practice may terminate your employment immediately by giving written notice to you and without being required to provide any compensation or payment in lieu of notice if you: (a) engage in serious or gross misconduct; (which may include but not limited to the following) being under the influence of drugs or alcohol breach of Patient or Business confidentiality (b) breach a fundamental condition and/or commit a fundamental breach of the conditions of your employment;
