Common use of Supervision by Contractor Clause in Contracts

Supervision by Contractor. (a) Except where the Contractor is an individual and personally supervises the work, the Contractor shall provide a competent superintendent, satisfactory to the Engineer, on the work at all times during working hours with full authority to act as Contractor’s agent. The Contractor shall also provide adequate staff for the proper coordination and expediting of his work. (b) The Contractor shall be responsible for all work executed under the Contract. Contractor shall verify all figures and elevations before proceeding with the work and will be held responsible for any error resulting from his failure to do so.
