The SUPERVISION DUTIES clause defines the responsibilities of one party to oversee, direct, or monitor certain activities or personnel under the contract. SUPERVISION DUTIES. D.20.1 No teacher shall be required to perform supervision duties during the school's regularly scheduled noon intermission.
D.20.2 No teachers shall be required to perform more than thirty (30) minutes per week of regularly assigned supervision duties, at times before school, after school, and at recess.
D.20.3 No supervision duties shall be scheduled to commence more than thirty (30) minutes before classes in the morning, nor begin more than ten (10) minutes after the end of classes in the afternoon.
D.20.4 There will be no increase in any school's supervision schedule as a result of the implementation of this clause.
SUPERVISION DUTIES. 1. No teacher shall be required to perform any supervision duties during the school’s regularly scheduled noon intermission or before school in the mornings.
SUPERVISION DUTIES. 1. No teacher shall be required to perform more than thirty (30) minutes of regular supervision duties per week, exclusive of lunch break. Any such supervision must begin no earlier than forty-five (45) minutes before and end no later than forty-five (45) minutes following regular instructional hours.
2. Teachers shall be entitled to a duty free lunch break.
3. Secondary teachers who volunteer to provide lunch duty supervision will, in compensation, receive one release day for every five hours of such supervision.
SUPERVISION DUTIES. Teachers may be required to perform a maximum of 20 minutes of regularly scheduled supervision duty per week. This duty shall not be scheduled during the school's regular morning recess unless requested by the teacher.
SUPERVISION DUTIES. (a) Mutual agreement should exist between the principal and the Teachers of a school in determining supervision policies and practices.
(b) Notwithstanding 36:02 (a), each Teacher has the right to a minimum of fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled noon interval free from supervision duties and employer-mandated meetings or employer-mandated activities. In an emergency situation, an Employer may require Teachers to attend a meeting during the noon interval.
(c) It is recognized by the parties that supervision duties may be carried out by Auxiliary Personnel at the direction of the Employer.
(d) A Teacher is not obliged to supervise for another Teacher, except in an emergency situation.

2. The staff and administration shall mutually develop an equitable plan of daily supervision. No teacher shall be required to perform any supervision in excess of an average of 30 minutes per week. The parties agree that it is desirable to reduce this amount to 15 minutes per week where feasible. In furtherance of this aim, the Board shall, effective January 1, 1994 implement the three recommendations which resulted from the Report of the Joint Supervision Committee.
3. There shall be no increase in supervision due to the implementation of this Article.
