If a Supervisor is aware of the harassment of an employee and does not take the appropriate corrective action, then disciplinary sanctions may be imposed upon the Supervisor as well as the offender. The Supervisor is obligated to tell the complainant of his or her right to file a complaint with the Human Rights Commission. If the matter is taken to the Human Rights Commission, the supervisor is obligated to cooperate with the officials of the Commission.
