Surviving Spouse Coverage. The parties agree that a surviving spouse will pay the same amount as the employee and/or retiree for health coverage in the event the employee and/or retiree dies.
Surviving Spouse Coverage. One-half (½) of the premium costs of continuing hospitalization insurance for surviving spouse or dependents of deceased active employees shall be paid by the Employer. This benefit will cease upon remarriage of the surviving spouse or attainment of the date of eligibility for retirement that the deceased would have enjoyed but for the employee’s death.
Surviving Spouse Coverage. The surviving spouse and dependents of a unit member who had thirty (30) years of service with the Washington County Board of Education and who was eligible to retire, will be eligible for continued health and dental benefits, the premium for which will be calculated the same methodology that would have been used for the unit member, providing that the unit member, spouse, and dependents were enrolled in such programs prior to the death of the unit member.
Surviving Spouse Coverage. The surviving spouse and dependents of an employee who has thirty (30) years of service with the Board and who is eligible to retire will be eligible for continued health and dental benefits, which will be calculated the same as for a retiree providing that the employee, spouse, and dependent(s) were enrolled in such programs prior to the death of the employee.
Surviving Spouse Coverage. Effective May 3, 2008, employees who retire under this agreement will be granted the surviving spouse retiree medical benefit. The surviving spouse of employees who retire under the Agreement who subsequently die will be eligible for continuation of medical coverage under the Plan provided the surviving spouse is enrolled as a dependent at the time of the retiree’s death. Eligibility for this benefit will be in effect during the term of the agreement. At the conclusion of the agreement, retirees will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Rockwell ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Standard Medical Plan for Retirees and will be subject to whatever Surviving Spouse coverage is in effect for retirees.
Surviving Spouse Coverage. The City will allow the spouse of a deceased employee/retiree to purchase medical insurance from a City-provided medical plan at the City’s premium rate provided all of the following conditions are met: the employee/retiree must be enrolled in the health plan prior to death; there is no cost to the City; the provider does not require a City contribution; and the City is held harmless if the coverage is discontinued

  • Survivor Benefits 1. A surviving dependent of a retiree who was eligible to receive a Retiree Medical Grant, as stated above in A through C, and who qualifies for a monthly allowance shall be eligible for fifty (50) percent of the Grant authorized for the retiree. 2. A surviving eligible retiree who qualifies for a monthly retirement allowance who was married to a retiree who was also eligible for a Grant shall receive the survivor benefit described in D.1., above, or his or her own Grant, whichever is greater. Such retiree shall not be eligible for both Grants.

  • Death Benefits Upon the Executive’s death during the Contract Period, the Executive shall be entitled to the benefits of any life insurance policy or supplemental executive retirement plan paid for, or maintained by, the Employer, but his estate shall not be entitled to any further benefits under this Agreement.
