Synchronous area monitor. The Nordic TSOs appointed Svenska kraftnät as the synchronous area monitor of the Nordic System. Since the Nordic synchronous area geographically corresponds with the Nordic LFC block, the synchronous area monitor works in close cooperation with the LFC block monitor on the implementation of its tasks.
