Synopsis and Benefit to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County has been working with the State of Oregon, Department of Corrections, for several years to provide correctional services for the supervision of cases resulting from Senate Bill 1145. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County is assigned responsibility for all justice-involved individuals on probation, parole, post-prison supervision, and those justice-involved individuals sentenced or revoked for periods of one year or less, and who are on conditional release to the County. The State reimburses the County for expenses associated with housing and supervision of these individuals through Community Corrections Act funding, provided through this Agreement.
Synopsis and Benefit to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County, Sheriff’s Office desires to continue a contractual relationship with the Oregon State Marine Board. The Sheriff’s Office will be partially reimbursed for marine law enforcement patrols, boater education, and boat inspections conducted throughout the County.

The State of Oregon, Oregon Health Authority, would like to contract with ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County to provide Parent Child Interaction Therapy Services (PCIT) in ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County, as well as, statewide training and consultation. Through PCIT, caregivers are taught specific skills to establish or strengthen a nurturing and secure relationship with their children, while encouraging positive social behavior and decreasing maladaptive behavior.
Synopsis and Benefit to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County has the resources available to provide tax processing services, and would like to begin collecting and processing property tax statements for ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County in October 2019. This Agreement allows ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County to provide independent, responsive, and professional services while permitting ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County to retain a high level of decision-making in the process. The Counties have established service goals and principles of cooperation.
Synopsis and Benefit to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County. The USDA, Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Region LEI, and Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, recognize that public use of National Forest System Lands (NFS lands) is usually located in areas that are remote or sparsely populated, and the administration and regulation of those lands are financially limited. This Agreement supersedes Forest Service Agreement No. 12-LE-11061000-009 documenting a cooperative effort between all parties to enhance State and local law enforcement by funding a seasonal deputy and necessary equipment in connection with activities on NFS lands, and provides for reimbursement to the County of the intensified portion of this effort.
Synopsis and Benefit to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County entered into a five-year General Lease Agreement (Lease) with Secured Courier, Inc., on December 1, 2011, for approximately 480 square feet of office space located at ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇, ▇▇ the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport. The Lease will expire November 30, 2016, and Secured Courier, Inc., desires to enter into another five-year lease. Secured Courier, Inc., provides valuable and quality service to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County.
Synopsis and Benefit to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County. The State of Oregon, Oregon Health Authority (OHA) would like to contract with ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County to provide Choice Model Services to residents of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County, or those who are assigned to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County by OHA. The Choice Model Services program is designed to promote the availability and quality of individualized, community-based services and supports. Adults with mental illness are served in the least restrictive environment possible and the use of expensive long-term institutional care is minimized. This Agreement will ensure clients have access to services consistent with the clinical needs of the individual and the purpose of the Choice Model Services program. In order to fulfill all the terms of this Agreement the County may contract out portions of these services.
Synopsis and Benefit to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County. Measure 57 was a legislatively-referred State statute which increased the term of imprisonment for repeat property crimes and drug offenses. The Recovery Opportunity Court (ROC) is designed specifically to serve those justice-involved individuals who have substance abuse barriers. ROC provides intensive court and probation services, with increased access to drug and alcohol treatment services. The CJC will provide funds through the Grant Agreement to continue this specialty court program. Since 2009, the program has provided case management, peer support, and treatment services to aid in the success of justice-involved individuals in the community upon completion of treatment services.
Synopsis and Benefit to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County provides individualized services within the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Juvenile Detention Facility to those at-risk for commitment to an Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) facility. These services may pertain to one or more of the following case plan domains: medical, mental health, social living skills, drug and alcohol treatment, education, vocational, family, and offense-specific. The Juvenile Division of the Community Justice Department has been providing evidence-based, individualized services to adjudicated youth for many years, and the OYA reimburses the County for providing these services.
Synopsis and Benefit to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County has requested assistance from the State of Oregon, Oregon Health Authority (OHA), to operate, or contract for the operation of, its community mental health and addiction programs. The OHA has the authority, under Oregon Revised Statutes 430.610(4) and 430.640(1) to contract and provide financial assistance to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County for mental health and addiction services. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County is willing, under the terms of this Agreement, to cooperate with the OHA in providing for, or contracting for, mental health and addiction services as well as programs and incentives for community-based care in a manner that ensures appropriate and adequate statewide delivery capacity.
