Tabletop Exercises. Symantec will use a table top exercise (TTX) to test and refine an incident response plan or process. The TTX is performed in a conference room where Customer’s key stakeholders talk through the incident response plan or process and their response to a particular incident without the need to actually deploy Customer equipment or resources. During the TTX gaps and weaknesses in the incident response plan or process may be identified. After the TTX, a debriefing will occur to review findings and create a plan for improving the incident response process.
