Common use of Take Possession Clause in Contracts

Take Possession. take possession of your Property, without any interference by you or anyone else living on your Property, and free from any other mortgages, charges, liens or easements, limitations or restrictions that we did not approve. If we take possession, we can ask you to leave your Property with all your belongings. If you do not leave, the court may order you to leave and if you refuse, the court will have you forcibly removed. Once in possession, we may do anything we consider necessary to: inspect, collect rents, manage or lease your Property; complete the construction of any building on your Property; repair any building on your Property; or take any other action permitted under the Mortgage or by law. If we take possession, we will not be responsible for maintaining and preserving your Property. We will only account to you for any money we actually receive in connection with the Mortgage or your Property.
