TEACHER EVALUATION PROCEDURE. This standards-based teacher evaluation procedure has been developed in consultation with teachers employed by the Board of Education in conformance with the framework for the evaluation of teachers adopted by the State Board of Education under O.R.C. §3319.112, and is aligned with the Standards for the Teaching Profession set forth in state law. A. The purpose of periodic formal evaluation is the improvement of licensed/certificated classroom instruction and to aid in the professional development of the licensed/certificated staff member. B. The parties agree that, in the event that there is a change in the current law governing the evaluation of teachers, adjustments will be made in order to bring this procedure in compliance with the new law, and all proposed changes need to be submitted to the evaluation committee for input.
