Teacher Instructional and Assignable Time. 8.1.1. A teacher not in receipt of any administrative allowance will not be assigned duties in excess of thirty (30) hours per week, averaged over the school year. A maximum of one thousand four hundred and thirty (1430) minutes per week, averaged over the school year, shall be devoted to the instruction of students. Effective August 31, 2018, this language is deleted and replaced with the following: A teacher not in receipt of any administrative allowance will not be assigned duties in excess of thirty (30) hours per week, averaged over the school year. The terms of Clause 8.1.1 prior to August 31, 2018, will operate on a without prejudice basis and will not be considered to be a precedent to adversely affect the rights of either the Association or the Board for any purpose.
