Teaching Preparations. a. Secondary school teachers shall not be required to teach in more than two (2) departmental areas nor more than a total of three (3) teaching preparations per day. b. Exceptions to the three (3) teaching preparations limit in a. above does not apply to teachers in Related Arts (Art, Business, Technology Education), Music, Special Education and World Language. The Administration will make every reasonable effort to avoid exceeding the limits in a. above. Prior to scheduling any such exceptions, the CHEA will be consulted.
