Technical Report. The Contractor will contribute to the study-wide technical report that documents all the technical aspects of the study. Contributions by the Contractor will include psychometric procedures and decisions for the test and the survey data and the preparation of the public report. The technical report will be critical to ensure that contractors conducting and equating future rounds of national CC assessments can replicate the analyses and statistics. Additionally, decisions with regard to the construction of the scale for 2019 that may have implications for scaling and equating in 2022 are to be documented. Sections contributed by the Contractor include: quality assurance procedures used to check all data data coding rules, including the treatment of missing data and rules for counting and categorising student groups scaling procedures and results equating procedures and decisions and equating errors plausible value methodology reporting of results The current ABS remoteness classification system has five categories (Major Cities of Australia, Inner Regional Australia, Outer Regional Australia, Remote Australia and Very Remote Australia). On endorsement of the content and format of the report by ACARA, the Contractor will provide the final report for ACARA’s graphic designer.
