TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM. The parties recognize the impact of the use of technology on the administrative functions which are part of teachers’ roles. The Board agrees to provide teachers who are required to use computerized evaluation reporting systems reasonable access to computers in the school. Wherever possible, and except in the case of emergencies, teachers will be required to enter data only once for each required evaluation period, providing a hard copy of the data to the school office. Teachers will not be responsible for entering attendance data into a computer system at a separate time from obtaining the attendance data. The terms of this Letter of Understanding are grievable and arbitrable under Article 16 of the Collective Agreement. Dated at Seaforth, Ontario, this day of January, 2004.
