Common use of TERM/PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Clause in Contracts

TERM/PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. The Research shall be conducted during the period (the “Period of Performance”) commencing _____________ and, unless earlier terminated in accordance with this Agreement, ending ______________ (“Completion Date”). The Period of Performance may be modified or extended by affirmative email confirmation between the Parties’ Contractual Matters representatives designated in Section 14; all other changes to this Agreement may be made only as provided in Section 24. The term of this Agreement shall commence upon the first to occur of (i) the date first written above or (ii) the commencement of the Period of Performance, and expire on the Completion Date.
