Common use of Termination for Conflict of Interest Clause in Contracts

Termination for Conflict of Interest. WSDOT may terminate this Contract by written notice to Vendor if WSDOT determines, after due notice and examination, that any party has violated chapter 42.52 RCW, Ethics in Public Service or any other laws regarding ethics in public acquisitions and procurement and performance of contracts. In the event this Contract is so terminated, WSDOT shall be entitled to pursue the same remedies against Vendor as it could pursue in the event Vendor breaches this Contract.
