Common use of Termination of Agent Clause in Contracts

Termination of Agent. The Publisher may pay all sums hereunder to Agent until the Publisher receives written notice from the Author of the termination of such agency. Upon receipt of such notice, Publisher will request written consent and release from Agent. Upon receipt of such written consent and release, the Publisher shall pay all further sums directly to the Author or to such other persons as the Author shall direct in writing.
