Termination of MSA Due to Force Majeure Event Sample Clauses

The 'Termination of MSA Due to Force Majeure Event' clause allows either party to end the Master Services Agreement if a force majeure event—such as a natural disaster, war, or other unforeseeable circumstance—prevents performance for a specified period. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which termination is permitted, such as the duration of the force majeure event and the required notice to the other party. Its core function is to provide a clear exit mechanism when external events make it impossible or impractical to continue the contractual relationship, thereby allocating risk and ensuring both parties are not indefinitely bound by circumstances beyond their control.
