The Card. You acknowledge and agree that the Card is a general purpose multicurrency reloadable prepaid card. The Card is neither a gift card (nor intended to be used for gifting purposes), a credit card, nor a deposit account debit card. The monetary value accessible through use of the Card is limited to the funds that you have previously loaded to the Card or that have been loaded to the Card on your behalf by CAPES or CNPQ. The Card is not and does not access an individual bank “account” for purposes of certain laws and regulations (including, but not limited to, Regulation E and Regulation DD of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau). However, we may use the term “account” and related terms for convenience from time to time when communicating with you about the Card and transactions and inquiries made with the Card. You may access the funds loaded to the Card and perform Card transactions only as described in this Agreement. You cannot link the Card to any deposit or credit account that you may have with us or with any other financial institution, except as provided in this Agreement. You may not obtain or write checks or drafts to access Card funds. You will not receive any interest on funds loaded to the Card. In our sole discretion we may refuse to issue a Card to anyone for any reason. Your Card cannot be redeemed for cash. We may provide you with a non-personalized temporary Card for immediate use pending the delivery to you of a personalized Card bearing your name. The transactions and uses described in this Agreement are generally available for the temporary Card. However, because your name will not appear on the front of the temporary Card, merchants who require identity verification may be unwilling to accept a temporary Card. Notwithstanding any expiration date that may appear on the temporary Card, the temporary Card will no longer be valid for use upon the earlier of (i) 90 days after the issuance of the temporary Card or (ii) your activation of the personalized Card that is delivered to you. Upon activation of your personalized Card, any funds remaining on the temporary Card will be available on your personalized Card. By activating your personalized card you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of this product. Your Card may be loaded with funds in such currency or currencies as we may permit from time to time (each a “Card Currency”). If you use your Card in respect of a transaction in a Card Currency, the funds maintained on your Card in such Card Currency will be utilized for such transaction. If insufficient funds in such Card Currency exist on your Card, funds in other Card Currencies will be converted to the applicable transaction Card Currency in accordance with procedures outlined in Section 14 below. Transactions for which a currency is not referenced will be processed as a transaction in the default currency established for your Card (the “Default Card Currency”).

You may access the funds loaded to the Card and perform Card transactions only as described in this Agreement. You cannot link the Card to any deposit or credit account that you may have with us or with any other financial institution, except as provided in this Agreement. You may not obtain or write checks or drafts to access Card funds. You will not receive any interest on funds loaded to the Card. In our sole discretion we may refuse authorise Us to issue a Card and PIN to anyone You and to Your additional cardholders. You also authorise any additional cardholders to authorise Card Transactions on Your behalf. You remain responsible for any reason. Fees, transactions, use or misuse of Your Card canor additional Cards requested by You. 18.3 We reserve the right to decline Your Card request and/or immediately terminate Your Card. We are not obliged to provide reasons for declining Your Card issue or activation request. 18.4 All Cards, which are issued by Us, remain our property at all times. You must immediately return the Card to Us upon request or You must destroy Our Card in line with the instructions provided by Us for this purpose. 18.5 We reserve the right to refuse to activate Your Card and at Our sole discretion We, or any person acting on Our behalf, may retain Your Card. 18.6 Following successful activation, You will be able to reload Your Card which means reloading your E-money Account. Depending on the method of reload, a reload fee may apply. The reload may not be redeemed for cashfully processed until the Business Day following the day when the funds have been received by Us, and the balance on E- money Account will normally not be increased until such processing is complete. It is Your responsibility to ensure that You reload the correct amount in the correct E-money Account. 18.7 You will be able to view through the User Interface the Card Transactions effected including the relative amounts and any charges applied. You can also obtain information in relation to the funds available on Your Card (means on your E-money Account) through the use of an ATM. 18.8 If a payment has been refused or declined on the basis of non-executed or defective transaction, We may provide you with a non-personalized temporary Card for immediate use pending the delivery to you of a personalized Card bearing your name. The transactions and uses described in this Agreement are generally available reasons for the temporary Card. Howeverrefusal/decline in Your Wallet User Interface, because your name will not appear depending on Our obligations under the front of applicable law, and the temporary Card, merchants who require identity verification may be unwilling procedure for correcting any factual errors that led to accept a temporary Card. Notwithstanding any expiration date that may appear on the temporary Card, the temporary Card will no longer be valid for such refusal/decline. 18.9 From time to time Your ability to use upon the earlier of (i) 90 days after the issuance of the temporary Card or (ii) your activation of the personalized Card that is delivered to you. Upon activation of your personalized Card, any funds remaining on the temporary Card will be available on your personalized Card. By activating your personalized card you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of this product. Your Card may be loaded with funds in such currency or currencies as we may permit from time to time interrupted, (each a “Card Currency”for example when We carry out maintenance). If you this occurs, You may be unable to use your Your Card in respect of a transaction in a to effect Card Currency, Transactions; to load Your E-money Account; to obtain information about the funds maintained available on your Your E-money Account and/or about Your recent Card in such Card Currency will be utilized for such transactionTransactions. If insufficient funds in such Card Currency exist on your You incur any problems using Your Card, funds in other Card Currencies will be converted to check the applicable transaction Card Currency in accordance with procedures outlined in Section 14 below. The Card. 3.1 We may, at our sole and absolute discretion, issue a Card to you (including but not limited to when you apply for a Card, a Mari Savings Account or any other Designated Account with us (as the case may be), and we have approved your application. You acknowledge must be at least 16 years old to be a Cardholder. 3.2 After we have approved your application pursuant to Clause 3.1 above, the Card will be made available to you as a virtual card in electronic format (including being made available in our App and/or sent to your email address in our latest records). We reserve the right to charge a fee as set out in our Mari Debit Card: Fees and Charges table (“Fee Table”) in respect of Card issuance in any physical form. 3.3 Upon receipt of your Card, you must comply with such card activation, security and other Access Procedures (including the issuance of any Security Code(s)) as may be prescribed by us and upon receipt of your Card in physical form, you must sign such Card immediately. 3.4 You are responsible for keeping all Security Codes relating to your Card secure and not disclosing any Security Code to any other person. You shall be deemed to have made and be fully liable for any transaction effected on your Card with your Security Code(s). You agree that we may at any time change, activate or revoke any Security Code or its use at our sole and absolute discretion without notice or reason. 3.5 Your Card will be linked to your Designated Account, the terms of use of which will be governed by the terms and conditions relating to such Designated Account (“Designated Account Terms”). For the avoidance of doubt, in the event of any inconsistency between the terms of this Agreement and the Designated Account Terms in relation to your operation of the Designated Account, the Designated Account Terms will prevail to the extent of such inconsistency. 3.6 You may use your Card for making authorised purchases. If the Card Holder suspects that the details have previously loaded been compromised, it is the Card Holder’s responsibility to report immediately to Ajman Bank. The Card Holder shall be, and remain, fully liable to pay to us any debit to the Card arising from any Banking Transaction by any person whether with or that have been loaded to without the Card on your behalf Holder’s knowledge and irrespective of whether they were authorized by CAPES the Card Holder or CNPQnot. 1.5. Your Card may be loaded with funds in such currency or currencies as we may permit from time to time (each a “Card Currency”). If you use your Card in respect of a transaction in a Card Currency, the funds maintained on your Card in such Card Currency will be utilized for such transaction. There is no credit line or credit card, overdraft protection or deposit account associated with your Card. You will not receive any interest on the money loaded on your Card. YOUR FUNDS ARE NOT INSURED BY THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION. The monetary value accessible through use of the Card is limited to the funds that you have previously were loaded to on the Card or that have been loaded at the time of purchase and may not exceed $500. Cards may be subject to a minimum load amount at the Card on your behalf by CAPES or CNPQtime of purchase. The Card is not and does not access an individual bank “account” for purposes of certain laws and regulations (including, but not limited to, Regulation E and Regulation DD of the Consumer Financial Protection BureauBoard of Governors of the Federal Reserve System). However, we may use the term “account” and related terms for convenience from time to time when communicating with you about the Card and transactions and inquiries made with the Card. You may access the funds loaded to the Card and perform Card transactions only as described in this Agreement. You cannot link connect the Card to any deposit or credit account that you may have with us or with any other financial institution, except as provided in this Agreement. You may not obtain or write checks or drafts to access Card funds. You will not receive any interest on funds loaded to the Card. In our sole discretion we may refuse to issue a Card to anyone for any reason. Your Please know that your Card cannot be redeemed for cash. We may provide you reloaded with a non-personalized temporary Card for immediate use pending the delivery to you of a personalized Card bearing your name. The transactions and uses described in this Agreement are generally available for the temporary Card. However, because your name will not appear on the front of the temporary Card, merchants who require identity verification may be unwilling to accept a temporary Card. Notwithstanding any expiration date that may appear on the temporary Card, the temporary Card will no longer be valid for use upon the earlier of (i) 90 days after the issuance of the temporary Card or (ii) your activation of the personalized Card that is delivered to you. Upon activation of your personalized Card, any funds remaining on the temporary Card will be available on your personalized Card. By activating your personalized card you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of this product. Your Card may be loaded with funds in such currency or currencies as we may permit from time to time (each a “Card Currency”). If you use your Card in respect of a transaction in a Card Currency, the funds maintained on your Card in such Card Currency will be utilized for such transaction. If insufficient funds in such Card Currency exist on your Card, funds in other Card Currencies will be converted to the applicable transaction Card Currency in accordance with procedures outlined in Section 14 below. Transactions for which a currency is not referenced will be processed as a transaction in the default currency established for your Card (the “Default Card Currency”)more money.
