The Originator Clause Samples

The "THE ORIGINATOR" clause identifies the party responsible for initiating or creating a particular transaction, document, or process within an agreement. In practice, this clause clarifies which individual or entity is considered the originator, which can be important for determining rights, obligations, or liability—such as in financial transactions where the originator may be the party sending funds or initiating a request. Its core function is to ensure clarity regarding the source of actions or documents, thereby reducing confusion and potential disputes about responsibility or authority.
