The Responsible Clause Samples

The "Responsible" clause identifies the party or parties who are accountable for fulfilling specific obligations or duties under the agreement. In practice, this clause clarifies which individual, company, or entity is tasked with carrying out certain actions, such as delivering goods, providing services, or ensuring compliance with regulations. By explicitly assigning responsibility, the clause helps prevent confusion or disputes over who must perform particular tasks, thereby ensuring accountability and smooth execution of the contract.
The Responsible. Policing Bodies accept that should a contractor need to be appointed to provide goods or services for the discharge of Counter Terrorism Activities or Allied Matters or should any other contract need to be entered into, each Responsible Policing Body (Responsible PCC) (or in the case of a Responsible Policing Body who has entered into a Local Collaboration Arrangement, the Nominated Policing Body (if applicable in the circumstances)) shall act as the contracting party in relation to the procurement of such contract under which the Local Police Bodies (PCCs) (or the remaining Parties to a Local Collaboration Arrangement (if applicable)) shall be entitled to order goods or services or receive the benefit of that contract for the discharge of Counter Terrorism Activities or Allied Matters.
