The Web Services E-Verify Clause Samples
The Web Services E-Verify clause requires contractors to use the federal E-Verify system to confirm the employment eligibility of their employees working on a government contract. In practice, this means that contractors must electronically verify the legal work status of new hires assigned to the contract, typically by submitting employee information through the E-Verify online portal. This clause helps ensure that only individuals authorized to work in the United States are employed on government projects, thereby promoting compliance with immigration laws and reducing the risk of unauthorized employment.
