THE WORK ENVIRONMENT. 8.1 Equal Employment Opportunity (a) Bunnings will provide equality of opportunity in all matters relating to employment. This entails: (i) Making staffing decisions on the basis of merit and the possession of the skills relevant to the performance of the work involved. (ii) Complying with relevant anti-discrimination, equal employment and affirmative action legislation. (iii) Maintaining a workplace free from harassment of a sexual or other discriminatory nature. (iv) Fostering a work environment in which individuals have the opportunity to develop their full potential. (b) The parties agree that duly authorised officers of the SDA and Bunnings, or their representatives, shall meet as required to resolve Equal Employment Issues and to discuss changes to the workplace which may affect health and safety.
