Time of use of Cement Mortar. Cement mortar shall be used as soon as possible after mixing and before it has begun to set, within 30 minutes after the water is added to the dry mixture. Mortar unused for more than 30 minutes should not be used and shall be removed from the site of work. The cost of such wasted mortar shall be borne by the Contractor. The use of retempered mortar will not be permitted to be used for the masonry.
