Common use of TIME WORK Clause in Contracts

TIME WORK. ‌ Section 1: Employees understand that their primary job and hence employment responsibility is the City of Biddeford. The City agrees not to interfere with any employee working part time as long as the employment does not interfere with this primary responsibility. In addition, any outside employment or business ownership must not adversely impact the operations of the Fire Department or the reputation of the City of Biddeford. All employees must notify the Fire Chief of any part time work and/or business ventures. . Section 2: Unit Employees may not work their secondary employment (outside the BFD) in a Fire/EMS position within twelve (12) hours of the start of their regular shift with BFD.
