Common use of Timing of breaks Clause in Contracts

Timing of breaks. Except by agreement: Meal breaks will be taken at a time to suit the operational requirements of Bunnings provided that no Team Member will work more than 5 hours during one shift without a meal break. Where a Team Member works in excess of 7 hours during one shift, the first rest break will be taken before the meal break and the second rest break will be taken after the meal break. Rest and meal breaks are not to be taken within one hour of commencing or ceasing work.
