Tools & Equipment. 30.01 The Board will provide a monthly allowance of $20.00 per mechanic and $20.00 per maintenance person for upkeep, repair, and replacement of his/her personal hand tools needed to perform their job. It is also the employee's responsibility to provide insurance to cover theft or damage of the tools. Fifty percent of this allowance should be applied for payment on December 15 and again on June 15. 30.02 The school will purchase, as financially feasible, all tools and equipment for custodial, maintenance and mechanic personnel until all items are owned by the school.
