Training Away From Regular Point of Assembly Clause Samples

The "Training Away From Regular Point of Assembly" clause defines the terms and conditions under which employees may be required to attend training sessions at locations other than their usual workplace or assembly point. Typically, this clause outlines how travel time, expenses, and work hours are managed when employees are sent to off-site training, such as at a different company facility or an external training provider. Its core practical function is to ensure clarity and fairness regarding employee entitlements and obligations when participating in training away from their normal work location, thereby preventing disputes over compensation and logistical arrangements.
Training Away From Regular Point of Assembly. Where the Employer requires employees to take training away from their regular point of assembly, the Employer shall provide for all necessary, pre-approved and incurred expenses such as tuition and travel and may provide for other legitimate pre-approved and incurred expenses such as meals and accommodation.
