Common use of Training/Certification Clause in Contracts

Training/Certification. It shall be the responsibility of the laid off personnel to obtain training and/or classes necessary to maintain their certification. However, while eligible for recall, the Employer shall provide laid off personnel the opportunity to attend training and/or classes put on by the Employer so that the laid off personnel may maintain their certification.
