Common use of Training Differential Clause in Contracts

Training Differential. Bargaining Unit Employees who are assigned to train/ mentor employees shall be paid fifteen dollars ($15) for each day spent training. Payment will be made to the trainer on the first pay period following the new employee completing a day of training. As long as the new employee is still employed ninety (90) days from the date of hire or transfer, an additional fifteen dollars ($15) for each day spent training will be paid to the trainer on the first pay period following ninety (90) days from the date of hire for the new employee. In order to allow for appropriate training time, the Employer shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure the number of residents assigned will be based on one position. Bargaining Unit Employees will have an opportunity to add input into the development of a train the trainers program through the Labor Management Committee or other mutually agreeable process.
