Training Increment. a. A written declaration of intent to move horizontally on the salary schedule is the responsibility of the teacher and must be filed with the Superintendent no later than the April 15 prior to the school year in which the advancement is expected to take place. If all necessary documentation is received and advancement is verified prior to August 31, advancement on the salary schedule will commence in September. Documentation includes, but is not limited to, official transcripts, licensure, or letters of verification of degree attainment. If documentation is not received by August 31, advancement shall begin the first day of the month following receipt and verification of all necessary advancement documentation. b.
