Common use of TRANSFER BY LESSOR Clause in Contracts

TRANSFER BY LESSOR. Lessor shall have the right to transfer, sell or otherwise convey the Property or any interest therein. In the event of a transfer by Lessor of the Property or of Lessor’s interest as Lessor under this Lease, ▇▇▇▇▇▇’s successor or assign shall take subject to and be bound by this Lease and in such event, Lessee covenants and agrees that Lessor shall be released from all obligations of Lessor under this Lease, except obligations which arose and matured prior to such transfer by Lessor; that Lessee shall thereafter look solely to Lessor’s successor or assign for satisfaction of the obligations of Lessor under this Lease; and that, upon demand by Lessor or ▇▇▇▇▇▇’s successor or assign, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall attorn to such successor or assign.
