Common use of Transfer Generally Prohibited Clause in Contracts

Transfer Generally Prohibited. No Interests shall be Transferred, in whole or in part, except in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this Article VII and Article XI. Any Transfer or purported Transfer of an Interest not made in accordance with this Article VII or Article XI shall be null and void ab initio. Interests shall not be subject to the claims of any creditor, spouse for alimony or support, or legal process and may not be voluntarily or involuntarily alienated or encumbered except as may be specifically provided in this Agreement.
