Common use of Transfer List Clause in Contracts

Transfer List. shall not apply to Units TM1 or U41. Any permanent classified employee may request a transfer from one department to another in her/his current or previous classification, provided the employee meets the qualifications for the position. When requested by a represented employee, the City will place the represented employee’s name on a transfer list for the represented employee’s current or previous classification. The City will consider represented employees on the transfer list prior to filling vacant positions.
