Transfer of Records and Information Clause Samples

The Transfer of Records and Information clause establishes the obligation for one party to provide relevant documents, data, or records to another party, typically upon the conclusion or termination of an agreement. In practice, this may involve handing over client files, transaction histories, or proprietary information necessary for the ongoing operations or compliance of the receiving party. The core function of this clause is to ensure a smooth transition and continuity by guaranteeing that essential information is not withheld, thereby preventing operational disruptions or legal complications.
