Transfer to New Position. Any employee assuming a position in another classification shall begin his/her seniority in the new classification on his/her first day of work. However, his/her District seniority shall continue to accrue to determine earned vacations if eligible for vacations. If management requests a status change within the department, departmental seniority will remain the same.
