Transfers and Reclassifications. (a) The Company may offer an employee a lateral reclassification from one (1) job classification to another or a reclassification to a lower job classification, subject only to the limitation of Section 10.8 of this Article. (b) The Company may temporarily assign an employee to perform work not customarily performed by employees in his/her classification for a period of not more than ninety (90) days, or for such longer period as may be designated by mutual agreement between the Company and the Union. The following are examples of situations where the Company may temporarily assign an employee to perform work not customarily performed by an employee in his/her classification.
