TRANSFERS, TRAVELLING AND WORKING AWAY FROM USUAL PLACE OF WORK Clause Samples
The "Transfers, Travelling and Working Away from Usual Place of Work" clause defines the employer's right to require employees to work at locations other than their normal workplace. It typically outlines the circumstances under which an employee may be transferred to another office, sent on business travel, or assigned to work temporarily at a different site, and may specify notice requirements or reimbursement for travel expenses. This clause ensures operational flexibility for the employer while clarifying expectations for employees, thereby reducing disputes about work location changes and associated obligations.
