Common use of Transition Rule Clause in Contracts

Transition Rule. The application of the provisions of Section 29 of the collective agreement requires that the birthing parent's pregnancy leave begins for the first time on or after 1.3.2025 for the born child. For the non-birthing parent, the requirement is that their parental leave begins for the first time on or after 1.3.2025 for the born child. The provisions apply to the adoptive parent if their parental leave for the adopted child begins for the first time on or after 1.3.2025. In cases other than those mentioned above, the provisions of Section 29 of the collective agreement that ended on 28.2.2025 apply.
