TRANSPORTATION AND UNLOADING Sample Clauses

The TRANSPORTATION AND UNLOADING clause defines the responsibilities and procedures related to the movement and delivery of goods to a specified location, as well as the process of unloading them upon arrival. Typically, this clause outlines which party is responsible for arranging and paying for transportation, who bears the risk during transit, and who is in charge of unloading the goods at the destination. For example, it may specify that the seller must deliver goods to the buyer’s warehouse and handle all unloading activities. The core function of this clause is to allocate responsibility and risk for the transportation and unloading phases, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring a clear understanding between the parties involved.
