Transporting of students. 11.4.1 If your duties include transporting students: (a) Your primary obligation will be ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students that you are transporting. (b) You must obtain and maintain an up-to-date driver’s licence any any necessary endorsements. (c) All accidents/damage to the vehicle must be reported to your manager as soon as possible and an accident report is to be completed and filed as soon as practicable. (d) If the vehicle is unable to function because of an accident your manager must be contacted as soon as possible, together with anyone else the Employer’s policies and procedures require to be contacted. (e) No medication which carries specific warning in relation to driving a motor vehicle is to be consumed for at least 12 hours prior to you driving the vehicle.
