Trauma Leave Clause Samples

The Trauma Leave clause provides employees with the right to take time off work following a traumatic event. Typically, this leave is granted in situations such as experiencing or witnessing violence, serious accidents, or other distressing incidents, and may require supporting documentation or notification to the employer. Its core function is to ensure that employees have the necessary time to recover from trauma without risking their employment, thereby supporting their well-being and maintaining a supportive workplace environment.
