TRI Days. The four days immediately preceding the start of school, except for the Friday before Labor Day.
TRI Days. The District will provide to employees 26 TRI days to be used at the employee’s discretion for activities indicated on the Staff Development/TRI Report Form. These days do not include the four (4) district directed Professional Development days. Attendance is voluntary and employees in attendance will be paid in the following pay period. Leaves may not be used on these district directed Professional Development days. Prior to the 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 school years, the parties will conduct a market study. The TRI days will be adjusted up, if necessary, to ensure that the TRI amount remains midpoint of the selected districts. (See Attachment 8)

TRI Days. All leaves will apply per Article V – Leaves. Part-time employees shall be compensated at a full FTE for these supplemental days. 1. The District and Association agree and affirm the following beliefs: ( a) the success of the ▇▇▇▇▇ Island School District is dependent upon hiring and retaining the highest quality teachers; (b) providing a quality education for students requires from teachers a commitment to the profession beyond the base contract, normal workday hours and school year; (c) state law allows additional compensation for additional time, additional responsibilities or incentives; (d) the additional commitment required of ▇▇▇▇▇ Island's teachers cannot be accurately measured in hours or days; and (e) the time necessary to fulfill any one teacher’s responsibilities will vary from that of another teacher as determined by the individual’s own professional judgment. 2. Each employee will be issued a supplemental contract for 2.5 additional days at the individual teacher’s per diem rate in recognition of these additional responsibilities and as an incentive to provide the additional services. 3. The supplemental contract recognizes that employees will provide a professionally responsible level of service in the following areas which are above the basic contract: a. Preparation for school opening; b. Work connected with the conclusion of the school year; c. Conferencing/communicating with students or parents; d. Supporting school/student activities; e. Providing individual help to students; f. Evaluating student work; g. Workshops, classes and in-service work; h. Researching educational materials and supplies; i. Improving and maintaining professional skills; j. Preparation and revisions of materials; k. Planning with other employees in areas of instruction and curriculum; l. Working with computers and other technology as related to educational uses; and m. Attending District and/or school-connected meetings such as Open House, etc. 4. Payment will be made in equal monthly installments as is done with regular paychecks. A part-time employee will receive a pro rata share of this TRI supplemental contract stipend based on the employee’s full-time equivalency (fte) 5. In the event the District's maintenance and operations levy does not pass, these provisions of Section 1.7. shall be null and void for the following school year and thereafter provided (a) the District and Association meet and consult regarding continuance of any of these provisions and (b) ...
TRI Days. The District will provide to employees TRI days to be used at the employee‟s discretion for activities indicated on the Staff Development/TRI Report Form and as shown below: 2011-2012 18.0 days* 2012-2013 18.0 days* These days do not include the four (4) district directed Professional Development days in 2011- 2012 school year and four (4) days in 2012-2013 school year of the collective bargaining agreement. *It is the intent of the parties that TRI Days 15, 16, 17, and 18 will be subject to the following sunset provision. TRI Days 15, 16, 17, and 18 which are mutually agreed to solely for the duration of this contract, shall not continue beyond the expiration date of this agreement, August 31 2013, unless mutually agreed upon by the District and the Association. In the absence of such mutual agreement the number of TRI days shall revert to fourteen (14) for any status-quo period subsequent to the expiration date of this contract, and prior to the ratification of a subsequent collective bargaining agreement between the parties. 6.2.1 Special Education Teachers, OT/PTs, SLPs, and Nurses shall receive the equivalent to two additional paid days, pro rata to the identified assignment herein, in addition to the TRI days listed above.

  • Lieu Days Where an employee is granted a lieu day pursuant to Clause 17.3 or 17.4 of this Agreement, the time off granted will be seven (7) hours per lieu day for a full-time employee and prorated for a part-time employee.

  • Snow Days ‌ If an employee after good faith efforts is unable to report to work for his or her scheduled duty period because of weather conditions, and if a disaster due to weather is declared by the governor or the Grand Traverse County Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, the employee at the employee's option may take a day's leave without pay or work on a pass day to make up the loss day, or may utilize an accumulated sick leave day or vacation day.

  • Days Unless specified otherwise, any period of days mandated under a Note or this Revenue Sharing Agreement shall be determined by reference to calendar days, not business days, except that any payments, notices, or other performance falling due on a Saturday, Sunday, or federal government holiday shall be considered timely if paid, given, or performed on the next succeeding business day.
