Common use of Trimming Clause in Contracts

Trimming. Franchisee shall have the authority to trim trees upon and overhanging all streets, alleys, public utility easements, sidewalks and public places to prevent the branches of such trees from coming into contact with Communication Facilities. Except when an emergency dictates such work, Franchisee shall provide notice to City and to any property owner before commencing such work.
